At first it was hard to find the building. It's a reclaimed barm-like building in a unusual setting near the river bike path. When I went inside, the first thing I noticed was an abundance of exotic plants and geometric shapes of all description. It felt more like an art studio than a business. I noticed someone in a high-backed chair stroking a white cat and assumed it was the owner ( or a bond villain ) - but it wasn't. Just a developer taking a break. Not exactly what I was expecting!
The interview was very challenging. It was one of the most thorough interviews I've ever had. It made me feel like they really cared who they were hiring and not just what my skills were. About half way through it, I knew this was the kind of dream job that only comes around once in a while. I did my best and a few days later they made me an offer.
