Initial communication was great. A phone call to discuss my experience and if I was a good fit for the role. This lasted for an hour and I was told that I would sail through the interview. Had a zoom interview which I had to prepare for a role play and 5 scenarios. Also had to research the company that the contract was with. Completed the zoom interview which lasted just over an hour. I was advised that I did really well and they just needed to attend a recruitment meeting to discuss whether I would become contract or permanent. I have heard anything since! It is completely unacceptable to not even contact the candidate following an interview that required extensive preparation. And despite me sending an email to chase up a response, I haven’t heard a thing. It’s particularly upsetting in this current climate where jobs are few and far between. I had actually turned down another job in order to take this one as I was told by the interviewer that it was just a question of whether I would be temp or perm. Very disappointing!
