My interview process was short and sweet because I was not the right person or fit for the director role they were hiring for. I want to acknowledge the Recruiting Director who was very transparent- she listened to my experience, projects, wants, dislikes, concerns and asked questions trying to determine what *I personally* wanted out of my next role. In my past experience recruiters don't listen they steamroll. After listening intently, she told me this role was probably not the right next move for me for x,y, and z reasons and she was right. I am happy I didn't waste my time (or anyones) because she understood me instead of trying to fit me into a role that would suppress my skillset.
