Interview
I was interviewed for the position of Senior Data Engineer. I got interview call from HR for above position. I was able to clear 1st technical interview but could not clear the 2nd interview. In 2nd Interview the interviewer was late around 15 minutes. Then he started with spark data frames and some questions related to spark(see below).In 2nd interview he asked me to write dataframe transformations and get result using dataframe expressions. I was able solve this question using sparkSQL but he did not accept my answer and insisted on solving this question using dataframe expressions which I could not write. I was able to solve all questions in the interview but I got rejection email from HR after 1 day without any reason of rejection. Most probably the rejection was because of not writing code using dataframe expressions. Moreover, the interviewer was in hurry and there was background noise of his child crying.
