I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Constellation Brands
Interview
I was contacted on Linkedin by a recruiter who suggested I apply to the position as a referred hire. I applied, as the role related to my background, then subsequently got ghosted for three weeks. I eventually was followed up by a different recruiter, who offered to set up an interview with the hiring manager. By this point, I was already deep into the recruiting process with a handful of other firms, but the company and role seemed interesting so I decided to proceed. Fast forward to the interview: From the outset, the hiring manager seemed incredibly disinterested in being there, entering the conversation with a scowl that wouldn't budge despite numerous attempts at injecting enthusiasm into the conversation on my part. I can hardly remember what questions were asked because they were so vague and uninspired. In fact, I believe I ended up asking more questions than the interviewer himself. Interview itself only lasted 30 minutes despite being scheduled for 1 hour. Ended up getting offers from every other firm I interviewed with, so I don't think this was case of poor interviewing on my part.
