First interview:
One day, my interview was rescheduled 20 minutes before the start time. Highly unprofessional. I should have seen that as a red flag from the start.
When I actually interviewed, the recruiter was unprepared and couldn't answer a basic question about something on the job description.
Next interview:
The hiring manager wasn't sure how long the interview was scheduled for.
The hiring manager mentioned job responsibilities that were not on the job description. There seemed to be a big disconnect between the recruiter/HR and the hiring manager. I felt more prepared than the person interviewing me. It was strange.
Next:
The recruiter did not contact me for over 2 weeks, even after I followed up. I finally received the canned automatically generated rejection email.
Moving forward:
I will not be applying to Constellation Brands again. I've also seen sob stories online regarding recent layoffs there. Red flags all around. The giant has fallen.
