The interview was scheduled and I interviewed remotely through Teams. Two people interviewed me for the Accounting Clerk position. It was perhaps 25 minutes and went well. They were very kind and seemed engaged. However, the issue came when they said they would contact me in a week with an answer. But judging by the normalization of ghosting in this current job market, CSC was no different. The fact that they would disrespect you enough to have you take time out of your busy day to go through an entire interview process, only to lie and say they'll contact you on a specific date when they know they won't is insulting. I even emailed both the interviewers and the hiring manager after a week went by, and still none of them ever responded. How disrespectful. This ghosting culture (even after having seen your face and spoken directly to you) is cruel shows how much they respect workers.
