I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Control Risks (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Aug 2008
Interview
Initial communication was with country-head level leader for whom I had previously been an intern (years prior). Additional follow-up interview with practice-leader head who ran the project team that I would be a part of. Written tests on Chinese language skills (essential for the role) as well as English writing skills (ability to write in a professional, sophisticated, and polished manner is also essential to being successful in the role). Third round of interviews with would-be peers, HR, etc. Salary negotiations with HR and hiring manager, pretty straightforward. Start to finish one month.

Interview process was quick and easy. An initial phone screen, in person interview, then offer letter. The teammates I met with asked questions around past experience, relation to the security space, and thoughts on growing a team.

L'entretien de conseil était bien organisé et professionnel. Les questions étaient standard et l'interviewer courtois. L'expérience a été conforme à mes attentes, sans surprises particulières. Une procédure classique et efficace pour ce type de poste.

I applied online. I interviewed at Control Risks (Paris) in Dec 2019
Interview
I was first interviewed by the head of the team for about 30 min to make sure I had the right skillset and our ambitions were aligned. After I was invited for a written assessment, in which I was asked to complete two tasks of analysing business risk and giving recommendations. One task was in English and the other in French. I didn't get the job, but I had an overall good experience and it seems like a good place to work.
