There was an initial interview with HR and one with the hiring manager. The application was over a month old before the initial reach out and then a week between interviews. The hiring manager was rescheduled and both interview were late to the call. The hiring manager seemed incredibly ill prepared and was very short, which I'm guessing was because they'd already made an offer to another candidate. I'm not sure why they bothered reaching out. The hiring manager said she wanted to move forward with an on site interview, but then I received no follow up. Finally, after several reach outs I was told they'd hired someone else in that space of 36 hours. It was all very odd and unprofessional.
