Cook Children's Health Care System Nurse Residency Program interview questions

The nurse residency program consists of 10 behavioral questions and 1 case study or written SBAR based on a scenario. The behavioral/personality questions are the majority of the interview and are worth the most points. Behavioral questions are what you would normally be asked during interviews (explain a difficult time and how you handled it, explain a mistake and how you handled it, a time where you did not get something you wanted/applied for and how you pivoted, etc). They are really looking at your character during these interviews. Make sure you come in confidence and dressed appropriately. Be polite and make at the end after you’ve asked your questions it never hurts to thank them for the opportunity and explain WHY you WANT to be at Cooks.
