      Interview

Interviews for administration/managerial positons are typically handled by HR reps. Interviews are short and to the point, with general questions about management style and philosophies. There are no curve balls or abstract questions as the entire process is designed for the HR rep to get a feel of your character/behavior.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cook Out in Oct 2012

      Interview

Met with a General Manager as in initial overview of the company an a introduction to myself. I was then called the next day to meet with the District Manager and three other General Managers for a fairly comprehensive interview. They asked general questions about hoe my experience at my other jobs matched up with what they were looking for. They were cordial, but I was unprepared mentally for a 4 on 1 interview. At the end of that meeting the DM asked me to meet with the Regional Manager the following week for a more detailed final interview. Prior to that interview they required me to obtain a criminal background check from my home county. It cost 25 dollars, and I had to get it to the DM. No real big hassle but unusual. The following week I arrived at a office that obviously was not used often and was not the most professional looking atmosphere. About 10 others showed up for the interview. The RM arrived, slightly late, and asked each person to fill out an official application. He then gave a very detailed presentation of what they were looking for, what the expectations were, and what the compensation was. Everything from, typical schedule, starting salary for each person, some basic procedures, to benefits were covered. He talked about the ability to make a significantly more via the bonus plans, and their were several, but the details were slightly vague. After the presentation he pulled each person individually to interview. The questions were similar to the previous one. The interview was low pressure and it was over, for me at least, in 10 minutes.
