I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CorePower Yoga (Boulder, CO) in May 2023
Interview
I emailed with two different studio managers as I was unsure which would be the best for me. After a few back and forth emails, 30-minute phone calls were scheduled with both during which I was asked questions (see below) and told more about CorePower, the classes offered, and what I can expect during the process. I then attended an intensive and audition as my 200 and 300 hour YTTs were from external yoga studios. This involved 3 hours of practice and mock auditions with other applicants as well as direct coaching from my regions’s 4 studio managers. After the 3-hour intensive, we had 2 hours of auditions where each class type (C2, Hot Power, and YS applicants) taught a given sequence to the rest of us. I heard back a few days later that I was hired and the onboarding process has been smooth.
