It was a long process that took two days. I met with many different functional groups and they all asked the same basic questions. None of the groups really u detstood the scope of the position. .

Nine interviews over three days and I found out I wasn’t selected because the Associate Dean emailed me to recommend me for another position in a different department. The hiring manager never reached out.

The interview process was thorough. It depends on which college you interview with, though. You usually go through panel reviews and then are introduced to your potential peers and given a tour of the university.
