The recruiter was very unprofessional and called 30 minutes later than the scheduled phone screen; there was no apology or reference to her tardiness whatsoever. She was very agitated that I went above and beyond the normal application process to ensure consideration, sarcastically stating that I hadn't even applied through the website before sending an email to her. Despite the fact that submitted my credentials through several outlets, she couldn't locate my resume on her computer and had to search a while before discovering its whereabouts. Upon a quick review, she informed me that she wasn't seeing what she wanted to on my CV; I dedicated a lengthy amount of time devising my cover letter, highlighting my qualifications as they pertained to the role and it was apparent that she has not so much as opened the document. With her obvious disapproving attitude towards my perceived lack of experience, I wasn't even sure why she had scheduled the phone interview with me in the first place. I received no genuine opportunity to discuss my relativity to this role and upon asking if she'd like to discuss my prior professional experiences, she told me that this was an initial screen and that'd I'd hear from her later in the week whether I would be moving forward in the interviewing process or not. Being that it was two days passed the expressed deadline and I had not heard feedback, I reached out to her and she hastily responded that she has passed along candidates to the hiring team in a vague, misspelled email. I never heard from the company nor was given the chance to ever prove myself as viable for the pursued position. It is an absolute shame that a company spoken so highly of has an unprofessional, underperforming individual on its forefront, representing the entity so negatively and providing an unfavorable experience and first impression. I was so complimentary of Cornerstone after all that I've read, but that perception has changed significantly.
