I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Newnan, GA) in Jul 2019
Interview
Basically the hiring process I went thru involved the opening of a brand new store so that had an off location place with about 40 chairs set up in circles of 3. It was loud and pretty packed. I went in expecting it to be in an office but definitely not the case. My interview went great till the one male interviewer realized I had tattoos; sleeve on one arm and a small one on my hand. I stood up to shake his hand at the end and he sat me back down to explain that it could be a problem. Long sleeves, bandage on my hand to cover up since they have a strict no visible tattoo policy. His whole attitude changed and I could tell he was put off but employee's with visable tattoos. I let them Know I have no problem wearing long sleeves while at work. I 100% believe this caused me to not get a second interview. I'm a stock manager at a midsized retail chain so I'm definitely qualified for the position.
