The Costco interview process for a cashier assistant or front end assistant usually starts after you apply, when a manager reviews your application and availability and then contacts you to set up an interview. Some locations do a short phone screen first to confirm your schedule, reliability, and comfort with a fast-paced, physically active job, but many go straight to an in-person interview. The first in-person interview is typically with a front end manager or supervisor and focuses on customer service, teamwork, handling busy rushes, staying accurate and organized, and how you respond to difficult situations with members. If they are considering you for the role, you may be asked to complete a second interview with an assistant general manager or the general manager, which is more focused on culture fit, work ethic, and long-term reliability.
