I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Coury Hospitality (Fort Worth, TX) in Jun 2020
Interview
I applied through Coury Hospitality and received a response about 2 weeks later. Before I heard from Coury Hospitality I was informed by my previous employer that Coury Hospitality reached out to them to verify my employment. Hadn’t heard of potential employers doing that before so was intrigued by a company that was impressed to see what I had to offer and already completed that step of the hiring process. I then completed a phone interview with the HR Manager and was invited to complete an in person interview with the Director of Food & Beverage. During the phone interview was informed that they were planning to fill this position quickly. Towards the end of the in person interview, I was informed that the next steps in the interview process would be an interview with the GM and was then informed of a potential start date if hired for the position at which I agreed that I would be able to start at that time. After the weekend, I reached to Coury Hospitality and thanked them for the opportunity and looked forward to be a potential final candidate for the position. About a week and half later after the last contact with the HR manager, I was informed by email that I wasn’t selected for the position. It would troubling to hear as this was a hotel that I’ve been excited to see to come to life for the last 2 years and further understand into the culture of Coury Hospitality of how they treat their guests and employees of being a potential future employer.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Coury Hospitality
Interview
There were a lot of steps and many interviews to get through. They were invested in getting to know me and they replied very quickly to emails and had good communication.
