I reached to a recruiter and we eventually connected. He was very helpful and discussed he process in detail and told me what to expect with each step. Had a discussion with the hiring manager and we agreed to meet in person and that went as expected. I took an online personality test and then was introduced to many others on the team and then interviewed with several higher up the chain. All but one were courteous, open, and helpful as I had many more questions for hem than they had for me. The final call was with the COO, Guy, and I was told to be very prepared as it’s his call if you get that far. As I sold a competing solution I knew the product, the market, competitive details and I was absolutely knowledgeable on anything job related. He finally dialed in, 12 minutes late for a 30 minute call and talked for 10 minutes straight after that. I described my career and experiences and then his only question was “what do you know about me?” in an odd tone. I answered back with details on companies he had worked for and other info. He had to get off the call right at the :30 minute mark and I thanked him and mentioned I was very high on the opportunity. The recruiter called the next day and said I wasn’t enthusiastic enough for Guy- I laughed because I had seen that before and because I had two other offers already. It seems like a good opportunity, just be enthusiastic if you get to that stage.
