The interview process with CoverMyMeds was overall, a great experience, other than going through the long, grueling process and the final presentation day (making it that far and taking off in total, 6-7 hours worth of work at my current job) to be told that they went with someone else with more experience in the industry. They did tell me, rest assured, that I was a finalist and really impressed them. I was definitely disappointed with the outcome, but I learned a lot from the process and was honored that I had made it that far. I have several friends that work at CoverMyMeds, and I had heard through the grapevine that the candidate they hired for this role, was already internal and was an apprentice that CMM had been prepping and grooming this person specifically for this role. Being an external candidate, it's challenging to compete with someone already internal that seems to be a shoe in. Although I was not offered the position, I was extremely impressed with the recruiter I dealt with and their professionalism. They did a great job at painting a clear picture of what the culture, perks, and benefits are like. Ultimately, I still really want a shot and get my foot in the door at CMM, as it would be the perfect long-term culture fit where I could make a difference in the healthcare/IT industry.
