      Account Coordinator Interview

      Dec 10, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Columbus, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CoverMyMeds (Columbus, OH)

      Interview

The interview process, which advanced much faster than I had anticipated (4 weeks total), was very transparent and thorough. Within three business days of applying, I received an email from the Support Supervisor and had the first phone interview. It lasted roughly 20 minutes, the Support Supervisor provided a lot of information about the position I was applying for, and I was also asked a lot about my resume/involvement. About two days following the phone interview, I received another email inviting me to continue with the hiring process after participating in an online personality assessment. The next round of interviews was in the CoverMyMeds office, where I had a tour of the beautiful office space, completed the Wonderlic test, and had two separate interviews with the Support Team leaders. This interview lasted about 2 hours, provided me more information about how the position fits into the CoverMyMeds organization, and really tested my knowledge/skill set. If I did not have any experience relevant to the Accounts role, or if I was not comfortable answering questions about the organization, this round would have been extremely challenging. Because I was sure to prepare prior to this interview, I felt confident and excited. Two days following the second round, I received another email asking me to continue with the process. The final round is a Project Day, where I met with a person currently in the position I was applying for, participated in role/scenario play, learned even more about CoverMyMeds' website operations, and also got to have lunch with the Support Team. This final interview really put my skills to the test and again, had I not been prepared and/or familiar with the work I would be doing, it would have been a struggle, to say the least. Following Project Day, I was asked for three professional references. Because a couple of my references were difficult to get in touch with and the Thanksgiving Holiday was upon us, this final step took a bit longer than the previous. However, the recruiter was extremely transparent and kept constant communication throughout the process. Immediately following a conversation with my third and final reference, I received an offer. Not only did I receive an offer, I was extended an offer for a promoted position from what I had applied for. I applied for Account Specialist and I was offered Account Coordinator. They are all about culture fit, too! To say the least, I was humbled throughout the process because I was challenged, respected, trusted, and felt appreciated. A+ to the entire staff, especially the HR team for their communication and transparency. Thank you.
