Recruiter did the initial screening with some questions about the role and suitability. Interview then consisted of a three round process and communication was great. They shared updates every step of the way.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Covista (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2022
Interview
Four long interviews with people with each lasting about 30 minutes. Kind of crazy for a manager level position. Ideally it would only have been two interviews for this type of role
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Covista
Interview
Went through interview and answered bunch of questions. They then got back and asked for work examples and said they would reply later that week. Heard nothing for many weeks and forgot all about it. Had seen the bad reviews and was going to be uphill process to recruit me. Then one day they call and leave this excited "want to talk to you" message. So call back and am told they hired someone else.
Sometime later checked their site and Indeed and both places still had the job listed.
LMAO. 20+ years of job interviews and first time someone CALLED to say no thanks. Who has time to waste? Applied out of boredom as was totally qualified and like the space, but there's a lot of identity hiring these days and the fact that they didn't even connect me with the hiring manager and then ghosted for a month only to call? Then have the disrespect not to take listings down so as to waste decent job seekers' time and their own?
Yeah. Read the reviews here and other places and apply elsewhere.
