I went through 4 rounds of interviews. I was mislead about the company’s travel policy in the beginning. Was told it was rarely needed. Then, during the interview process, it became clear they wanted someone to travel all the time. What’s the point of a remote job if you’re expected to drop everything and travel across the country? My last interview was with a VP, who was incredibly condescending and rude. She told me I was going to interview with someone else, asked for my availability, and I sent it. 5 weeks later I get an automated rejection. This has to be a top 5 worst interview experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cox Automotive (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied online and heard back a few weeks later from a recruiter. We set up a phone screen for a later date. It was standard - why are you looking to leave your current company, salary requirements, experience, etc.
I then interviewed virtually with the hiring manager. Then, I interviewed with the whole team virtually. It went alright, but a received an offer a few days later and accepted.
So far its been great. They sent me all of my stuff to WFH and the onboarding process was pretty solid thanks to Chad Prosser.
Looking forward to building a career here!
