It took over a month before I was contacted. When I was contacted by their recruiting office, I was underwhelmed by the pay. They offered me $12.50 an hour to do one of the most stressful jobs in the industry. I turned them down initially. About a week after that, I was contacted by a manager at the station to talk to me about the station and the job opportunity. I met the manager in person a few days later, and had a one on one interview. It took over two weeks from that point for me to start working. I have not reached 90 days, but will in a little over a week. I was more or less promised more money and a full-time position. We will see if that happens. I am not holding my breath. No one can survive on a part-time job at 12.50 and hour. I continued to look for full-time work since I was hired there.
