Interview
I applied online through SnagAJob, and the next day I received an email from them about calling to schedule an interview! I called a few days later, asked to speak with a Manager, and she scheduled an interview with me for the next day! I arrived about 15 minutes early, asked for a manager, and was seated in the dining area. 10 minutes later, a manager approached me and interviewed me. It was way more relaxed than I thought it would be, and it felt more like a conversation. He asked me a few questions, we talked a bit about my experience with Cracker Barrel (As a guest), and asked if I had any questions for him. Afterwards, he shook my hand and told me I was hired:) Later that evening I filled out the background check form he emailed me and six days later I received an email welcoming me to the Cracker Barrel Family!
I got there at 3:45 PM, and was out of the door by 4:10 PM! My advice to you is to smile and maintain eye contact! I have no prior work experience and when I questioned the manager about the skills they're seeking he told me he couldn't care less, because they will teach me the skills. He said he's focused more on a candidate's character and polite/welcoming demeanor because that's what he can not teach. So if that's something you're worried about, don't!!!! Good luck!
The interview was easy. They know most of these servers are just starting out. But they want you to know how to upsell, and how to work in a fast pace environment.

Interview
It went pretty well, just asked the norm, such as tell me a little about yourself and why do you want to work here. Just asked simple questions and told me I had the job and what day to come in next. I applied to be a server and they told me I would get 25 hours a week, but they ended up making me a to-go specialist and I’m getting like 6 hours a week. I also didn’t get scheduled for a month after my interview but I’m working a bit now.
