Interview
I applied online and was called the same day to set up an interview for three days later. I came in and waited about twenty minutes for my interview and during the wait, I sensed that I didn't get the job. However the interview went on, the Retail manager came and spoke about the position I applied for and asked about my availability. He spoke for the majority of the time and after asked if I had any questions for him so he could basically talk some more. I barely said a word and wasn't really given the opportunity to present myself, the manager seemed to have his mind set on not hiring me. At the end of the interview he gave me his business card and didnt tell me to expect a call so I knew I didn't get the job.
Just a heads up, Cracker Barrel usually gives you 3.5-12 hours a week, if you're okay with that then, go for the job otherwise don't apply.
My interview wasn't really much of an interview, so I'd say it was easy, for this particular position I'd recommend being really outgoing and being bold. Good luck to anyone applying for this position!
it was horrible ZERO communication whatsoever i went in for the interview and spoke to the manager beforehand and i came in, asked to speak to the manager and she wasnt even there. still got my interview tho and then got told i wasnt going to be sonsidered right then and there. it hurt myfeelings

Interview
The date set-up interview process was automatic, yet the in person portion was inside of the restaurant. They set me up at a table and I waited for the manager. The manager asked me questions of my skills, experience, how I would describe myself and my approach to the customer.
The interview process was easy and very non-stressful. They asked general questions about why I wanted to work at Cracker Barrel and about my availability. I was interviewed in the dining area, so plan your interview during a time that's less busy.
