Recently I applied to Credence online and found the initial contact with the recruitment to be positive. They were helpful and very accommodating to my circumstances in regards to interview scheduling. When the interview was conducted, I thought that the staff was very kind and willing to answer any question I had about the job, location, etc. At the end of the interview, I was told that I would hear back early the following week whether or not I would be offered the position. Weeks passed and I received no response even after I sent a follow-up email a week later. I understand that many companies do not feel obligated to let interviewees know if they have been successful or unsuccessful (as discourteous as it is), but I see no excuse for Credence as I was explicitly told that I would be given a timely response. However, I am thankful that I did not get an offer and take a job at a company that does not follow through on their word.
