Interview
I interviewed over the course of 3 weeks, 1 hour with an associate, 30 minutes with managers from various departments over video conference. Then, I drove an hour and a half to interview for 3 hours with 9 different employees of various levels up to directors.
After all of these interviews, a tour of the office, and "positive feedback." Still, I was not given an offer for a position that mostly requires knowledge of excel and communication skills -- not rocket science.
Honestly, I felt led on and it was mostly a waiting game that feels like a waste of time in hindsight -- especially with the extensive interviews where I was asked the same set of questions almost every time. There's only so many ways that you can answer...
The Director of Investments is very dry, and he gives you the feeling that you're wasting his time.
They always want an "EXAMPLE" in the interviews. It's 2022 not 1990. People do not always have an "example" to apply. Everyones' life experiences are different, and putting such an emphasis on giving a definite example is old school, arbitrary, and not constructive.
It does not matter how much you know about the company, your interest in the job, or how well you interview. It seems all they care about is "experience" in the end although their job posting says no experience required.

Interview
Simple 30 minute interview with HR. A simple vibe check. Interviewer seemed checked out, her hair was visibly un groomed and she yawned and theatrically stretched in the middle of me talking. I probably should’ve taken that as a sign. Other than that, questions were simple.
There were 3 rounds in total. The first two were behavioral were you explained why you were interested in the role. The final is an in-person group interview where you also conducted multiple behavioral interviews during the day.

Interview
1st round- zoom meeting with recruiter. Very easy and basic questions.
2nd round- Meeting with hiring manager for 30 minutes. Asked 1-3 behavioral questions and 1-2 situational questions related to the role.
3rd round- Typically an in-person meeting with multiple different managers and team members, but mine was over zoom with two managers and a director in individual 30-minute interviews. These interviews felt more like a vibe check, with a few more situational questions mixed in.
