I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cruise in Mar 2021
Interview
My original recruiter left after I'd interviewed a few rounds and was interested in Cruise - a new recruiter joined who is still learning the ropes and didn't read resume - it took 8-9 misunderstandings before I had to get off the phone to get some time of my life back.- interview was more trouble than its worth unfortunately but really interesting environment, great people and smart place.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cruise
Interview
I was an outbound, the recruiter reached out to see if I was interested in "new opportunities", normal back and forth. Eventually talked to hiring manager, had a great conversation, promised to follow up. Straight up ghosted. Never heard from him, the recruiter, nor the assistant who had been setting up all the calls. Reached out a couple times to all of the above and no one ever responded.
