I originally walked in and inquired about employment, as this was a newer gym. I almost had an interview on the spot, but did not expect this to happen. Management gave me their business card for me to follow up. I emailed shortly afterwards. About 1-3 days passed, and I received a call for a position. The interview was friendly. Management asked the basics: how did you hear about us, have you attended this gym before, what skills do you have that apply to this job, etc.
