First step was Zoom with recruiter, average experience there. Next was an interview with the hiring manager (VP). That was more HR-ish type question/answer, not much conversation there. Next step was a technical interview, which was suppose to last 1 hour. I completed all coding exercises/questions within 30 minutes. The main interviewer was very standoffish, and didn't seem happy to be there. I was asked to code Fibonacci and Palindrome, with some time complexity questions. I feel like I answered most of the questions to satisfaction. A few days after the technical interview the recruiter called to tell me they are not moving forward. My suggestion would be to have people run the technical interviews who would be happy to do it, and not think it's a chore. Also, I feel the whole 'write the Fibonacci sequence' is outdated and doesn't do a great job of assessing candidates. The recruiter was great at staying in touch and keeping me updated though, which was very nice.
