A very long process starting from HR interview, then team interview, written test, and finally founder interview. The questions are mostly behavioral except questions about crypto and web3.0, and recent investment they made.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crypto.com in Dec 2023
Interview
1st round was smooth and happy talk, while the 2nd round with the team's VP, the approach she questioning was notably disrespectful and lacked professionalism. Notably, she chose not to use a video feed throughout the interview, while still expecting candidates to have their cameras on. More, her interrogation style was particularly unsettling. After providing thorough explanations, I was repeatedly met with "Why?" or "Tell me why?" These questions did not seem to aim at genuinely understanding my perspective or testing my knowledge, but rather came across as confrontational without a clear purpose. This method of questioning, devoid of a friendly or constructive challenge, felt awkward and unproductive. Also, her focus on personal details such as my age and city of origin was both surprising and inappropriate. Overall was a unprofessional experience among all the interviews I had, very impressive :).
