I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crypto.com (Singapore) in Mar 2025
Interview
I was referred by an external recruiter to apply for a senior product manager position. On the next day, I had a short 15-minute screening call with the HR representative, who informed me that there would be a total of three rounds: first with a senior product manager, then the head of product, followed by a stakeholder interview with engineering.
The first round with the senior product manager was scheduled for the following day, and it was a good experience, with the interviewer genuinely wanting to understand my experience and test my product sense. The next interview was scheduled for the following Monday, but I got a message from the recruiter that morning that it had to be rescheduled to two days later. The interview with the head of product did not go well as I felt that the interviewer was distracted and unengaged with my responses (which made me more nervous). A few hours after the interview, I received an email from HR telling me that I passed and would proceed to the next round, which was to be a written case study that was to be submitted the following Monday. I was surprised, as that had not been communicated before. When I opened the case study, I saw two lines that looked hastily put together, as it switched between second-person and third-person pronouns, which I suspected was a direct copy-and-paste job from an internal message. As the case study was unexpected and I did not enjoy my second interview, I withdrew from the application the following day. After I sent the withdrawal email, the external recruiter texted me to say that the company told him that if it was the second interview I had problems with, they could arrange for me to report to the first interviewer directly and for me to meet other team members to understand their culture better. I was baffled by the message but stood by my original decision.
A 4 round process. HR, Line manager, Peer level and Director. Met with HR, passed and was told that they would schedule my next round. Scheduled. Cancelled my interview just hours before the call, said last min call scheduled. HR told me they would reschedule. 2 weeks later nothing happened.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Crypto.com (London, England)
Interview
Approached by internal recruiter via LinkedIn. There were 4 interviews in total around 4 weeks. There is little information is provided before meeting, interviews are very unstructured, behavioural based with no clear direction or understanding what type of people they are looking for.
The most interesting insights was from engineering lead who has described company as non agile, slow moving, with high investment on outbound and marketing instead of internal infrastructure.
There are no feedback or any type of communication after you have invested 4weeks of your time, just an automated email.
I would not recommend overall if you are really keen to work in Web3 or Blockchain as they are more trying to build super app to achieve their north star metric of 1bln users by splashing billions on marketing. Such approach never ended very well
