I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cubic (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Initial 30-45 min phone interview with a software engineer at the company. Talked about projects I'd worked on at school and more details regarding the position I was interviewing for.
Two separate on-site interviews, same day, both with software engineers, one of which conducted the phone interview. More questions regarding school and side projects. Was asked about my knowledge/experience in embedded programming, and had to solve a simple long division problem on the white board, but no other major 'technical' questions.
