I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Culligan (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2014
Interview
The process had 3 interviews with people from many different facets of the company. The whole process took about 3 weeks but I was happy to accept the job. Started work immediately.
The first step was a "One Way" interview. While I understand they want to make sure you are put together enough to run a shop, to ask a person pretty extensive questions and give them a minute, literally 60 seconds, to respond seems like a waste of everyone's time. "Describe a critical incident and how you managed it" seems worthy of at least a two minute answer. Doesn't seem like they were setting potential candidates up for success. It also put all of the commitment and time on the candidates with very little investment from them. Hiring is time consuming and challenging but this process is set up only for those who are good at short surface level answers.
