I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cummins in Feb 2011
Interview
Received a call from recruiter who set up an interview via phone for the next day with hiring manager. After phone interview I received a call 3 days later to set up an on site interview in 2 weeks. Interviewed on site with 5 different people, then HR. Most were technical questions with a few behavioral. Then wrapped up with HR who said a decsion would be in 2 to 5 days. After 7 days I followed up but received no response. Finally 2 days later HR rep emails to say she one more candidate was being interviewed and I would get feedback at beginnign of the follwoing week. The following week I heard nothing. I called and emailed the recruiter and HR manager. Recruiter said HR manager had not rresponded. HR manager finally responded 2 days later saying the team had not met yet to discuss outcomes. Their process is slow and follow up is non-existent. I accepted another offer. Good company but unfortunately in this instance incompetent HR personnel.
