Went through 5 rounds of interviews. Then it took them one month to get back to me with the result.
1. Phone screen with Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.
2. 2 weeks later: Phone interview with the hiring manager (HR Manager)
3. 1 week later: Phone interview with the hiring manager's boss (Vice President, Talent, Human Resources.
4. 1 week later: In-person interview with the team that this HR role would support. The interviewers were Senior Director of Operation and the Division’s General Manager.
5. 2 weeks later: I was called to have another in-person interview to meet with the Division VP.
Overall the people were decent and friendly. The interviews were average in difficulty and in professional settings. However, after my last round of interview, it took them a long time to make the decision. I continue doing my part to follow up every other week. One month later, after I emailed Talent Acquisition, she replied and wrote “Thanks for the follow up. I guess you didn’t get my previous email regarding the status of this role.”
Honestly this has left some sour taste in my mouth because during the 2-month-period, there were no incidents of any disconnect or missed-emails from neither end. Now it's like she is saying we’ve told you the status already but you didn’t get it. Anyway, life goes on.
