I wanted to edit my review as this job was just reposted I believe. I'm sorry I just saw it was when I was continuing my job search. I didn't want to give too much away. I reconsidered my original posting as I didn't want to hinder in your search.
The people here were really nice. The team really seems amazing to work with. They seemed like people you could ask anything to a million times during training and no one would care. Sincerely everyone I met at the Newtown location was extremely nice. The pay for the position was exactly what I thought it would be. I didn't feel cheated or like I was being low balled. There was a really quick aptitude test but I wouldn't worry about it. It was just to make sure you could do a basic job function in the role (I think it would be unprofessional to state what it's about but it's short like 15 minutes maybe 30). I was incredibly nervous because the job is at a very nice modern building and everyone made me feel right at home. I really wouldn't be nervous interviewing here.
The top man you talk to (I forget his title) is incredibly down to earth and extremely easy to speak with. He does seem like he expects consistent good work. I really appreciate that I said I would need additional training to be at the level of excel they were looking for and he let me know he could set up some learning or training sessions just around excel. Really a great guy. I wouldn't feel nervous at all speaking with him.
Also the recruiter for Curtiss Wright it just a bundle of fun. She is professional and very sweet. At the end of the day I thought the hours may be longer than what I expected (but I am sincerely not sure as I did not take the position) and the lengthy background check discouraged me it made me think everything in the company would be extremely bureaucratic but I've never worked there so I'm not sure.
I would say you must have reporting experience for this role. I was also worried about that. Like I have a ton of reporting experience but I don't enjoy reporting. But some people do! Wish this team the best of luck on their search they are really a fantastic crew. If your worried about working at a manufacturer and it'll be stuffy/locker room talk/just a bunch of straight guys the team was mostly women, super friendly, and I mentioned my boyfriend (I am a man) in every interview and no one blinked an eye. Fun accepting down to earth people is the best way I can put it.
