I had been referred by a friend and the business lead manager reached out for a preliminary pre-screen. She followed up at the end of the week and sent my information over to HR, who had scheduled my first zoom interview with the Operations Director. All went well, and I was invited back for an in person interview. It was made clear that I was a finalist, and I was told that they would let me know the outcome by earliest Friday, or latest Monday. End of Monday rolls around, I haven't heard anything. I give them until Wednesday, and still no word. I reach out to the HR contact with whom (up to this point) I had consistent and quick communication. I hear absolutely nothing back, and accepted that this company cannot simply take 30 seconds to either call or email to say they picked another candidate. Being completely ghosted for a senior position is extremely unprofessional, especially for a company that holds themselves in high esteem for their reputation in the real estate sector.
