I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cvent (McLean, VA)
Interview
I had an on campus interview and then I was invited for an onsite interview. I drove two hours to go visit Cvent on a school day. While I was there, I had a tour of the office, I was taken out for lunch by a couple of employees and then I had a series of interviews. I was put in a room and different women came in and interviewed me. Each interview was about 20-30 minutes. When I was first put in the room, I sat there for about 45 minutes before anyone came in. I think I was forgotten about.
The interviews themselves weren't so bad. I mostly went over things on my resume. Overall, it was pretty easy going.
They told me they would let me know within 2 weeks. More than 3 weeks have passed and I still haven't heard from them. I have emailed the HR woman who I had been in contact with and met at Cvent but received no response. It is completely unprofessional of them. I have no idea if I will ever hear from them. I took a day to drive four hours (2 there and back) and miss class, just so I could never find if I got the job or not.
