Cvent Sales Ops interview questions

I was drug along by the nose for a job a recruitment rep scouted me for as far back as July. They said they need to fill the position by October. It is now almost October and I only had half hour interview a single hiring manager that was not really a decision maker. The decision makers around the role I never actually talked to despite the recruiter talking about them at length. That's 2 months to only have a half hour interview with someone that had no power to move me forward. Yesterday after being ghosted for a week or more prior, I was told they're moving the role out to Q1 2025. I'm pretty sure it was/is a ghost job. Familiarize yourself with this term. Ghost jobs are a thing and companies are posting them for a variety of reasons. It should not take 2 months to hire anyone but to companies these days, in this job market, it is totally acceptable. Shame on Cvent and the recruiter for stringing me along for months to be put back at Square 1 for a job they likely had no intention of hiring for. Complete waste of time.
