Disrespectful and disorganised company with lots of red flags from day 1. Instead of a proper 30-min 1st interview, I had an uninterested 12-min screening that didn’t feel like a 2-way chat, with literally no room for the candidate’s questions. Quite rushed and discourteous conduction. The 2nd phase displayed indications of a lack of clarity about the desired profile. I left with reservations but expected it could change. The 3rd phase was a presentation of a product launch marketing campaign - in a category they don’t currently commercialise. The poorly written briefing demanded new research, as it requested knowledge in a different market, ignoring the research time already spent for the 2 interviews prep. So, I worked on the task during the weekend. Despite the red flags, while I waited for days for their reply about the presentation date, I still invested time in the case, creating content, as I had no idea when the interview would happen. 5 days later, HR informed me that the position had been put on hold due to ‘internal changes’, with no explanation or apologies. They wasted my time and gave up mid-process. Zero respect. I also wonder, if the position changed, why keep the same ad listed on job websites? And why not conclude the ongoing phase and see the presentation you requested? The position couldn’t have changed that much if you’re still recruiting as it was. That’s "strange" (read: BS) and a total lack of empathy and desire to keep any relationship. Or it’s a quite disorganised company, to say the least. Either way, a no-go. This is not how a company that respects people and builds 2-way processes acts. If you treat candidates like this, I don’t wanna see how you treat your employees.
