I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CybelAngel (Paris) in Aug 2025
Interview
Easily the most negative interview experiences I have had. The first two were the most softball and pointless interviews I have had. I was then invited to do an in person interview in paris and was told it was mandatory even though i live in a city far away. I showed up on time, and the team doing the interviiew was 20 minutes late. We started the interview, with two present and two on a remote call. Before the interview I had been given a case study preperation package that looked like it had been written by a 10th grade french person in his first english class. Grammar mistakes, nonsensical directions and outdated information from the past decade. Even though this is a beginer position that is payed 35k a year in paris, the interview team (who mixed up my cv and called me the name of the person before me) expected me to have a god like comand of a product and sales when in reality i only had a week to prepare. The entire team was clearly tired as they had been doing interviews all day. The next week, i was notified that I would not be selected for the next round as they had "selected a candidate with a specific expertise". Two months later, they have reposted the job. If this company has a hard time filling a position it is not because there are not willing people, as their product is quite interesting, but because they have unrealistic expectations, no respect for candidates time money or well being and a lack of organization that shows from each interaction. Do not take an interview unless you are fine with wasting your time.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We deeply regret the way you experienced our hiring process. This is the first time we hear about this type of complain out of the dozens of candidates we interviewed for this position.
And if the job is posted again, does it necessarily mean that we struggle hiring or could it also mean we opened another position to support the business activity?
We wish you all the best in your job research.
