I had a brief virtual interview the President of CycleBar. He started by explaining his history with the company before asking me a couple questions. After wrapping the interview, I never heard from CycleBar again - a first in my career. Typically, even if not selected to move forward in the interview process, you receive some sort of "thanks, but no thanks" email or call back. Especially after an interview with a company executive. But it was just silence, which stuck me as odd and unprofessional. I clearly didn't think it was a fit, either, so I didn't bother following up to find out.
