Cyera Executive Assistant interview questions

I was excited about an opportunity with this company, but I’m really disappointed in their recruiting process & candidate experience. I was contacted a few days after applying by a TA partner who asked for my availability to have my first interview with one of the members of the team. I was surprised that there was no phone screening that needed to be done prior to this, but was also relieved that could possibly mean not having a ton of interviews or recruiting steps. I sent over my availability same day and then later had my interview confirmed. The day prior to my interview the TA coordinator reached out, asking me to confirm that I would still be available for the interview at the agreed-upon time. I followed up confirming, but then the next morning I received an email that just showed my interview was canceled via calendar notification. I reached out to the talent coordinator as well as the talent partner to see if the interview was going to be rescheduled or to get some context on why the interview may have been canceled. I finally heard back from the talent partner, and she stated they had decided to move in a different direction, but mind you, I never even interviewed so I didn’t understand how I was now being declined for a role that was still open. I find it to be very unprofessional to reach out to a candidate, schedule an interview, show interest, and then cancel the day of. No regard or consideration for the time that the candidate may have put in to prep for the interview.
