I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cypress Semiconductor (Bengaluru) in May 2012
Interview
I applied online after which I got a call from the team manager which lasted about 30-40 mins. Standard questions about the goals, reasons for change and current job duties. Also asked few technical questions. Later I was asked to visit their Bangalore office and told it would be a day long process. After reaching the office manager gave me a good overview about the job and company over a breakfast table. He made sure I got good understanding of the role. He was a decent fellow. Next it was a technical round by two of his team members which went fine. I got to meet one more team member during the lunch break and I tried to know more about the work culture and people. Later there was another technical round with a lead from other team which was not very difficult. Then I met THE GUY. The marketing director gave me an impression of bit arrogance and dont care attitude. I was told I would have to meet another marketing fellow whom I asked about the long term objectives of the group and lot of other questions. I was offered the position with quite a good package, RSU grants plus ESOP plans
