I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at DCP Midstream LP (Denver, CO) in Dec 2018
Interview
Interview Process consisted of HR phone screen, hiring manager phone screen, and then an in-person with hiring manager and 2 colleagues. Small coding challenge given between the hiring manager phone screen and the in-person. My total hiring process took 47 days, which seems out of the normal. I think it was because the hiring manager was out for a week and Thanksgiving. Once I did my 2nd phone screen, things moved much more quickly.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at DCP Midstream LP (Houston, TX) in Jan 2021
Interview
I was contacted by DCP Midstream recruiter partner (Airswift) via LinkedIn. The recruiter explain about the role and told me what it’s like to work at DCP Midstream. I had a few phone interviews with them before having 2 virtual interviews directly with the manager and the team I would work with. Very professional and well conducted interviews. Mostly, they want to know about you, your works and the skills you possess. A lot of technical questions but nothing is too hard. The whole interview process took 3-4 weeks and I contacted my recruiter directly for any information regarding my status. I had several interviews with other companies but they seems not to care about the candidates. Comparing to them, the interview and onboarding process at DCP Midstream is painless
