Received an email requesting an "introductory phone interaction"
Call lasted about twenty minutes
- Multiple phone/connection issues on their end (random hold music kept blaring every couple of minutes)
- Call was extremely impersonal (just facts about the role and specific questions about your experience)
- Zero talks of benefits or culture or why Deciem is a good place to work
- Insisted I would hear back with either "good or bad feedback" within a week
Of course I never heard from them again, which is fine, as I wasn't interested after the call, but a little odd that the person really stressed that I would hear back.
Convinced this was part of meeting some HR/Recruiting quota so maybe don't waste your time (especially if you have a non-white name)
