Sales Representative - Primary Care Interview

      Dec 14, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo in Nov 2011

      Interview

Initial phone interview after employee referral. Ran through experience and some basic sales results. Asked on phone for follow up interview and agreed. Face to face interview with hiring manager. Lasted 2 hours and very thorough. Went through resume piece by piece and every part of my brag book. Good opportunity to display every success and skill I had. Quite a draining interview but felt very confident when asked to be involved in next stage. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything emailed DM and received auto response that they were moving on with other candidates. Found this quite frustrating as had interviewed very well, had strong sales experience in the TA and results to back it up. Really wanted genuine feedback. (At the face to face interview I was told the next steps if i were selected would be a day in field on territory, followed by another interview. Then if they were still interested a final round interview at Regional HQ in Arizona before an offer was made)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What do you know about the company? What do you know about the specific territory you will be working on? What do you know about the US healthcare industry? How do you manage your day?
