I applied online. I interviewed at Dairy Queen (Lagrange, KY) in May 2025
Interview
I had a really positive experience interviewing at Dairy Queen. The process was pretty straightforward and relaxed, which made it a lot less stressful. The manager was friendly and asked mostly basic questions about my availability, previous work experience, and how I work with customers. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview.
They also explained what the job would involve, like helping customers, keeping the store clean, and working as part of a team during busy times. I appreciated that they were clear about expectations and scheduling.
Overall, the interview process was quick and welcoming. It seemed like they were mainly looking for someone dependable with a good attitude who is willing to learn.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
“Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult customer and how you handled it.”
Hired on the spot with a very fast process. The interaction wasn’t very personable, as it seemed they urgently needed staff. There appears to be high turnover, likely due to this approach, and I was able to start working the very next day.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Dairy Queen (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
It was a very quick interview, not even 10 minutes. Just asked general questions you hear at most interviews. Why are you interested in this job? Tell me about yourself etc.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Dairy Queen (Buford, GA) in Sep 2025
Interview
A really short interview, just asked me for my age + availability and the typical "why do you want to work here?" along with a "why should i hire you over other candidates?"
