Applied and interviewed initially within 2 months, then heard nothing until two months later. Came in for second interview with Superintendent of Instruction. Received job offer. Set up to move from my current city upon Dallas' request (and assurance that I had the job) and then they rescinded the job offer after I got an apartment. They cited that they didn't want to cause any issue with breaking my contract in my current district, but refused to wait the two weeks my district requested to find a suitable replacement for me. What made this experience so negative was that I was assured time and again that the job was mine, otherwise I would never have begun to move. They called to "see how I was feeling" when it was all said and done, and tentatively offered me a job "if something opened up". Overall very poor handling of the situation.
